Jeremy Brett Huggins
(1933-1995)

Known for: As an actor, Brett worked on stage, television and film including working alongside Audrey Hepburn twice. However it is his role as Sherlock Holmes, which he played from 1984-1994, that he is primarily known for.

School days: Brett was at Eton from 1947 to 1951. He was in F.J.A. Cruso’s house. He enjoyed singing and was in a number of performances during his time here. He has since discussed in interviews how difficult he found his time at Eton and that it was traumatic for him.
